I am a dirty-south loudmouth, a queer magnolia flower grown from the potholes of Mississippi. JSU, an HBCU, is where I studied creative writing. I also am a Voodoonauts & Abode Press ‘26 alum. Currently, I serve as Chair for WisCon, a feminist science fiction and fantasy convention. My work centers womanhood, power, resistance, and reclamation of queer and disabled bodies within speculative fiction. I self-published ‘When Blood Meets Earth’ which won an Indie Literary Award. I am an acquisitions editor for FIYAH Lit Mag & Rawhead Journal. My previously published and forthcoming works can be found in FIYAH Lit Mag, Harriet’s House, Kawandi, and more to come.
