WisCon - A feminist inclusive convention
We intend to have WisCon 2026 over the customary Memorial Day weekend, May 21-25, 2026. GoH announcements are coming soon! We can’t wait to share more with you about what lies ahead for 2026.
We’re also excited to announce that we’re planning to have WisCon in person again in the Concourse Hotel in Madison in 2027! If you’re interested in making that happen, consider volunteering with us.

Kawandi Magazine celebrates our first issue!
Our first issue, A Dream of Home, which explores home, identity, and memory in the African Diaspora, is finally out! On this call you will be able to hear amazing literature from Black writers, see or participate in our family heirloom show-and-tell, and participate in a live Q&A about themes of the issue. Grab your favorite snack, find a cozy spot, and let's celebrate Black writing, independent publishing, and all those things that remind us of home.
